These exist because a meaningful portion of what Forbidden Altar recommends is vintage: 1960s Orchids of Hawaii mugs, 1950s Alfred Shaheen aloha shirts, original Liberty-pressing Martin Denny LPs, the out-of-print Beachbum Berry titles. None of these are on Amazon. eBay’s dealer ecosystem is where they live.
A note on eBay’s affiliate cookie window: 24 hours, much shorter than Amazon’s. The visitor needs to complete a purchase within a day of clicking the Collection link for the click to credit. So these work best when you’re already in shopping mode—looking specifically for a vintage mug or a particular out-of-print book—rather than as casual browsing.
